When you feel down and low - Remember to get back up in the game
For all of us, there have been times when we feel down and low with no energy no enthusiasm to go forward when we just are parked.Its hard ,its hard living at that moment.For others its easy to say, just think positive and everything will be alright but deep inside- you are so crushed that all of that appears useless and senseless to you .
For me it came in the mid of Year 2013 ,after a Job change things came on hard .Before this i feel i was living in a comfy-cocoon and now someone pulled me out from that cocoon and put me in a bed full of thrones.A Rough Boss,No Flexibility,Lack of self -confidence,lack of self belief.Became anxious like anything,rushing to doctors especially Psychiatrists.Visited almost every competent Psychia. in my region .It was like doctor shopping,trying to judge every doctor ,comment by comment, medicine by medicine.Nothing seemed to help , nothing did help.Felt devastated,felt helpless .
I was going to everyone - GOD, astrologers , anyone who could help became my angel.
i was reading in various online help / other blogs that the psy-medicines cannot be trusted with a cure of such issues and that the only saviors can be any or all of the following :
1.Exercise.
2.Mindfulness meditation.
3.Yoga
Through a Godly event /coincidence , i got introduced a fabulous process called Happiness Program by Art of Living which truly changed my life.
This worked on multiple dimensions , all of which needed repair and overhaul
1. Thoughts - the basic teachings just struck me hard possibly because i needed it badly at that time.
2. Yoga - They teach you yoga which does not need any introduction in terms of the benefits it offers 3. Sudarshan Kriya - Is a beautiful process which Gurudev Shri Shri Ravi Shankar has created which involves rhythmic breathing.
Now, at this stage some of the critical thinkers might think that i am trying to promote something here .Sorry, not associated to any organization in any sorts .
I just want to throw out my views points here and through my own experiences and accumulated knowledge , i want to help out people who might be going through a similar rough patch.
Here are some of my thoughts in case you are going through a bad phase in life and feeling low-->
1. Remember that where you are is temporary, you will not be there for rest of your life.
2. Never ever give up.Even with the worst of feelings and desire to give up, keep marching forward.
3. Give your best shot to exercising, what you feel is you can do towards exercising your body, do just a little bit more .This will give you a mental boost and a quick energy motivation
4.Meditation - It can be a little boring sometimes but believe me when i say this, it works it definitely does.
5. Always love yourself, dont hold your self guilty of anything,Be the no.1 friend for yourself.
6. The moment you start feeling better, do not stop practicing that which worked for you.
PS : The way i have written this could not be one of the best ones or even good but this is my first one so please excuse as a beginner
